Issue: "Thin" Notes
The Problem: The resulting note is short, vague, or simply repeats back a few sentences without adding professional structure or clinical depth.
The Fix: Increase the "Signal"
AI drafts are a reflection of the "data" provided during the session. If a session is very quiet or a "Text-to-Note" summary is brief, the AI has less to work with.
During Live Sessions: Narrate your actions. Instead of just nodding, say, "I hear you using a reframing technique there," or "Let's use our grounding tool to manage this anxiety."
In Text-to-Note: Aim for the Essential Four: Why they were there, what you did (the action), how they responded, and what's next.
Issue: Missing Goals or Interventions
The Problem: The narrative summary doesn't mention the client’s specific goals or interventions, even though they are part of the client's record.
The Fix: Check Your Progress Note Fields
The AI has access to the Goals and Interventions for the session, provided they are explicitly listed on the progress note you are currently working on.
Populate the Fields: Ensure you have selected or typed the relevant goals and interventions in their designated fields before generating the AI note.
The Result: When these fields are filled, the AI will automatically pull that data into the narrative, linking your conversation directly to the treatment plan for better compliance and "Medical Necessity" justification.
Issue: Editing Concerns
The Problem: You feel like you are spending too much time "fixing" the AI's draft or adjusting the tone to match your clinical voice.
