1. From the CP Central Menu, select "Add Group Session".

2. From the dropdown, select the clients that attended the group session. Select "Next" when finished.

3. Select the Service, Date, Staff, and Billing Code for the Group Session. If a billing code or duration needs to be different for a particular client, you can edit it during milestone 3.

4. Notice that the session's status is currently "Temp." This indicates that the session has not yet been added to the client's profile. The sessions will be added during milestone 3. Select Next to move to milestone 3.

5. Any issues with adding the session will be listed in the Alert column. All alerts must be resolved before moving to milestone 4. See below for how to correct the different alerts.
No Service: You will receive this alert if the service added during milestone 2 is not in the client profile. If you have the security privileges to add sessions, you'll see the Client Service icon. Select it, and the service will be added. If you do not have the security privileges, you must select the delete icon (trashcan).
Duplicate: This alert means a session with the same billing code for the same service date already exists. Select the delete icon (trashcan) to remove.

6. After all the alerts are resolved, select "Next". When you choose "Next" the session will move from the "Temp" status to "Incomplete". This means they will now be visible in the client profile and on CP Central under "Items in Progress".

7. Read the "Confirmation" alert, and select "Yes".

8. Next, enter the information that is the same across all clients. You will be able to individualize each item presented here on milestone 5.

9. Select "Next" when finished.

10. Milestone 5 allows you to individualize the progress note for each client in the group. Select the arrow to display the progress note.

11. Enter the individualized information like the goals and interventions from the client's treatment plan.

12. When finished with the individualized note, sign/forward/review as you normally would. Select the arrow to move to the next client.

13. When you are finished with all progress notes. Select "Done".
